Could anyone explain me how The automatic (so not with gold) troop generation in general and with ships works?
Thank you

If your troops are in your own territory at day change and not in a melee battle, they will heal by 15%. Naval units will heal anywhere, unless theyβre in a melee battle. Forced march might stop units from healing, but Iβm not sure.

They heal in your territory, always, dosnt matter what they do. Ships heal anywhere
Ivan is correct.
Troops heal 15 percent of their LOST damage at day change, if in any land the player owns, regardless of what the unit is doing. Planes heal if operating out of their own airbase (not an allies). Planes do not heal on carriers. Ships heal everywhere.
It is important to note that the healing is based on the LOST damage. This means that the healthier the unit, the less it heals. When a unit gets up to 80 or 90 percent healthy, it heals very slowly. This is because fractions are rounded down. So, consider a unit with 20hps. at 90 percent health, it will heal 15 percent of 10 percent of its hps, or 15 percent of 2 hps. When you remember that fractions are rounded down, you can see why these units will never reach 100 percent on their own.
Fun fact: sometimes it might be smarter to merge like units, to evenly spread out hps, and then let them heal. esp if you have several that are in the 80 to 90 percent healthy.
Disclaimer: this was the case as of the last time I played. Bytro may have changed it for all I know.
Hope this helps.
Do aircraft assigned on aircraft carriers regenerate at day change? Theyβre not technically on your territory.
No, they will only regenerate when based out of your airfield/factory or in your territory. Carriers do not count for aircraft healing. The carrier itself will heal daily.6thDragon wrote:
