can naval units move on land?
stupid question i know but my cruiser in perryvile in one of my 100 player map games is crossing the land to get to the other side....

I have seen a couple cases where the "ocean road" crosses land.
Example in LeHavre France here on the 10 player map.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure there is not a canal that crosses the Normandy peninsula, let alone one big enough for an aircraft carrier. It's a problem. You guys need to ping @Alkyonor and @freezy with map details, so this gets on the list to be fixed.

I reported that "error" at perryville Alaska on the 100 player world map before, and was told it was a known issue.
As you can see here, red line is my submarine path from the Panama Canal to the Bering Strait
I expect in this location it was supposed to be a couple islands instead of a continuous peninsula.

Perryville is notorious for having ships travel through it. I had that issue an absurd amount of times when I played on the Pacific map and we all go a laugh out of that

Sometimes, the humor factor is more important that fixing it.
But, what would really make this more interesting would be for the devs to put a few Easter Eggs into the game. And Supply Crates don't count.
It seemed like such a waste to destroy an entire battle station just to eliminate one man. But Charlie knew that it was the only way to ensure the absolute and total destruction of Quasi-duck, once and for all.
