Understanding Anti-Air ground units.

Are they in the actual fort? AA units have no range, they need to be directly attacked.

Nah, they basically just shoot up or maybe 1-2 km away(at ground level).

They only protect the stack that they're in. So will damage aircraft that include the stack in a patrol or an attack.

Thanks, So I ended up attack the AA with my two interceptor planes and one got shot down, so they work lol.

Hi, similar question, what for is AA ? You wrote that AA can defend only units that it is stacked with, but when I attack big stack of enemys units (long battle) and enemy has well prepared airforce (many bombers vs my panzerdivisions), I'm not willing to lose all my AA cos they need to be as close to tanks as possible.. Mayby devs could implement something like 2nd line (for AA,Art..) units from this line would suffer damage after first line collapsed ? Yeah, fighters are cure for it, but I'm talking about not working properly AA at the moment.. My dreams about self-sufficient full mechanised land-only armies with tanks, SP.Art and SP.AA are just dreams for now. (Hate wasting resources on air and sea warfare, only land armies conquer territories ---so---> win wars)

PS. Yeah, mayby I'm too used to 1914 standard rooms warfare.

AA guns don't reach incredibly far irl, at least, not in this era

repair them like every unit, with time

rises faster closer to the capital, fortifications and general provence moral also bring it up

Markok, don't say 'repair them' (= repair the unit you are taking about) , if you don't mean 'repair'. If you mean, 'how to fix the problem' or 'how to improve the unit' ...well ... say so, so that everybody, who is helpful enough to answer our questions, doesn't feel pissed off by you, when you reply like you did.

AA isn't done yet. How You guys can imagine attacking enemy with tanks and AA, it's suicide (for AA..). I don't get it how You can't see this problem. Pontus I'm specialist in bad jokes. (<- next bad joke, those are awesome jokes!)

you dont attack with AA

you can use SP AA faster and more effective for that role
