I want to know if there is some way I haven't found to disband a unit example if I made a battleship in the Great Lakes it is stuck there is there a way to disband that unit so it no longer exists

I'm pretty sure that's not possible. Once you build a naval unit in an enclosed area like the Great Lakes, I think it's stuck there for the rest of the game (unless of course it gets destroyed)

Yes it is not possible. Next time never produce naval units in a enclosed area where it will never get out.
