Units can’t be selected?

So I’m playing a Pacific Conquest game as South Mexico, allied with North and New Mexico, and I sent 6 units of basic infantry to Baja Cali. North Mexico captured the province before I could land.

The problem is, they’ve landed exactly where I wanted, just outside the city on the South most tip. But I can’t use them,

When I tap on them, they disappear. I don’t have the option to move them, only attack, split, and add army.

when I press attack, it tells me to select a target, but tapping anywhere, province, sea, enemy doesn’t work.

Split doesn’t respond at all

Add army works, but if I move the joint force somewhere else, it sends the other group of soldiers

Resetting doesn’t work, and I don’t know what else to try, I’ve left them behind in my invasion of California which uses Cruisers and Arty, so I don’t need them that much but please help
