If it was really close and you stopped it could have caused it to attack. If there were enough defensive units it could have killed it right away. But you should see something like 99th ... regiment was destroyed by ... in the news. I don't know if a single round kill might not get reported because of a bug or something, but it's conceivable.
Units Dissappeared
I was engaged in attacking a city with two separate groups of ground units. One of them was actively attacking and the other was marching in and very close; I clicked the Stop button (Cancel Orders) for the group marching in and seemingly for no reason it disappeared off the map. I checked the other unit to see if it had merged as well as the News page and nothing referenced them. Is there some way I can further examine this to discover what happened?

Thanks; I had considered that but checked the news for a message and saw nothing. I also though it highly unlikely as the group moving in to attack was seemingly stronger than the group defending.
In that case you might want to report it, but it might be so rare it's hard to fix.
If I do decide to report it; how would I do that? Also, are they able to investigate and offer a resolution? Or would this just be potentially reviewing for a bug to resolve; and resolving it.
