Was this a 1.5 game? If the infantries were different levels they would move at different speeds in 1.5.
Unusual unit movement concerning time of arrival.
I've played this game for years and never noticed anything like this before. I broke up a large stack of 25 units into 5 groups of five to get greater 'efficiency'. I had at least one infantry in each division so they would all arrive at their attack point, at almost the same time. Well the first three were sent off fine, but for the next two the time of arrival was just over two hours longer! I stopped all the units and closely examined their combinations to see if that might give me a clue. All the different units were elite and their 'state damage efficiencies were mostly' 100% with a few in the high nineties, so what was going on here? It looked at first as if the divisions with more tanks in them were somehow influencing the infantry to move beyond their maximum ability, or maybe the tanks were just giving them a ride, but the third unit had one tank and four infantry. Then I checked the two units that would take two hours longer and they both had more tanks. So, what is all that about? I would love to know if anyone else has seen or heard of this most baffling phenomenon.

In 1.5 game rounds damaged units will move slower.
You can use the delay function to synchronize arrival.

Yes my friend Vorlon, I'm aware of the 1.5 stuff, but this was the original version of the game. Sorry, I must have assumed you guys have access to the records or are able to check glitches reported while the game is in play. And to Lord Riverwolf we said all our units were elite. If any of them were wounded that would easily explain it, but alas for that theory for none of them had a scratch. Well it's been so long since I played that 2 or 3 months ago my new work schedule where I am employed combined with my bosses permission to use my computer on the job to help pass the time when we are not in action and standing down, gave me the opportunity to play again. For four weeks I tried every day sometimes dozens of times to join a game but could never get a top 5 country that I had not played. I would have settled for some of the next most powerful 5 countries I've yet to play but they were always taken as well. Anyway long story short it was my last day to start a game if it went the same length of time as all the others which 90% were 30 days. Of course after no new historic 1939 world games came up that day and time run out for me to choose, left me with either Manchuria or S.A. South Africa it was then. Long story short I implemented a very long term plan that was designed to be flexible not strong. Instead of stupidly competing or even just trying to keep up with super powers that have only half competent leaders and trying to building a regular army, navy and air force is a waste of time if you want to win the game by solo victory. There is only one basic plan with many different parts to it that may or may not be used as it unfolds. End of part one. Must sleep. My writing is getting sloppy.
