That is most definitely NOT meant to happen.
Mess with the Bill, you get the scorn!
Yesterday I conquered a small undefended province (Kasserine) at 17:00, with a unit of armoured cars.
Last night at 01:00 there was an uprising. The province became Italian. And so did my unit of armoured cars.
This morning at 07:30 the armoured cars were magically transformed into infantry.
The Italians dont have a way in or out of Kasserine, other than by sea. They could not have transported these units without me seeing them comming or going. So...is this supposed to happen?
That is most definitely NOT meant to happen.
Can you actually see the units? Or does the unit have an infantry icon with a question mark by it? The question mark and grayed out infantry icon indicate that it is unknown what's in the unit, and how many units are in that group. Try scouting out the province with planes and see if it changes to an armored car icon.
It might have not transformed into infantry(unless you share a map with Italy). When its unclear how many units there are( and what the unit is) it appears as infantry. But if it did transform that sure is something. I played a round where someone lost their troops like that. It hasn't happened to me yet thankfully....
Indeed. The rebellious units are meant to become various types of gourds.Butter Ball Bill wrote:

I've never had a rebellion in a territory w/ 2 ground units. Is that the preventative?
I think it all depends on the morale of your province. But it could be weird so idk haha.
