View on the enemy pattern.

Hello,

Why sometime, I see the full pattern of the enemies, and sometime, I only see a part of it?

I suppose by "pattern" you mean the arrow of where the enemy is heading?

You can only see the NEXT destination of an enemy units (with some exceptions, but they don't apply here).

In the top picture, it hasn't reached the "dot" yet, so that's where you see him going.

In the bottom one he has passed the dot, and his next destination is the province border.

In both cases, his planned path may be dozens of destinations longer, but you only see the next one.

Thank you for your answer Rokossovski!

I have an another example. Here I was bombing an army (with tactical bombers), immediatly after, they moved and I can see all their way!

I haven't any spy.

Someone know why? Since I have bombed them, a spy icon apparead (but I repeat that I haven't a spy).

I don't understand why I can see their movement as if I spy them...

Thanks,

This is actually a bug, but it has been in the game for such a long time that people think it is normal)))

When you bombed a unit or completed a patrol cycle (hung in the air for 15 minutes, spotting the unit), the units is intended to remain "spotted" so you keep seeing it on the map. However, this was done by making it "spied"; and when a unit is seen by a spy (a reveal-all), you CAN see all the destinations on his route. So right now and until this is finally fixed, you can scout a unit from the air and see all the dots that are currently in his path. Be aware that the enemy may change the path after you spotted him though!

That airplanes create spy snapshots during patrol is not considered a bug.

If they do it also via direct attacks, I would rather consider that a bug. Maybe Maxpeigne can specify if they bombed via patrol command or direct attack.

Thanks for your answer.

I've forget if I was bombing or patroling, but I think that I was patroling...

Why is this a thing? No unit whatsoever should be able to read the enemy's mind.
