"We hope you continue having a fun & enjoyable experience" -- I got banned...?

So I couldn't log in, which is peculiar. Tried to retrieve password, says I'm banned. Checked my email, and had a response to a report made days earlier.

"Hello,

"Thank you for your message. We have responded accordingly. We hope you continue having a fun and enjoyable experience.

Best Regards"

Umm, is it possible that I was accidentally banned? If not, is there any way to find out why I would be banned?

I'm sure a mod or a game operator will see this soon and respond with instructions.

"It is even better to act quickly and err than to hesitate until the time of action is past." - Karl Von Clausewitz

I asked via email and they said, "you know what you did, you didn't respond to your email within 48 hours to explain"

They then referenced the rule against multi accounting... I've never used multi accounts...

There was also no email. I went back months through my emails. I requested they forward the email to me, what IP address, when, where, what accounts, etc.

They still haven't produced the supposed email.

--- My girlfriend has an account that she played maybe 2 months ago, from the same apartment, but never played a game with me. I don't even know what her account name is or the email she used for the account. I assume she plays now and then but I'm not even sure she's continued to play her tutorial game.

If this was from the last 48 hours --- and I hadn't responded --- that wouldn't even be possible because she's on the other side of the continent.

It's also a shame because I was just leading a 7 member coalition in a 100 man map. Two of us just stopped a massive invasion from the largest coalition and were quickly counter attacking towards their core.

Now that I was banned out of nowhere the other six players are going to have their game ruined weeks in and I can't even inform them of these shenanigans.

Will be hard to answer this on forum without breaking privacy clause..

However, you want it answered in the forum:

You cheated in the game. The IP conflict is only a trigger that causes us to investigate. There are many other reasons we investigate games for multi activity, including random checks.

When you cheat in a round, you are ejected from it. From there, you need to explain yourself, or lose all accounts (you are only supposed to have one. You do not get one for each hand, nor one for each finger).

From there, if (face it, WHEN) we catch you again, you do not get the same benefit, instead we just start deleting your accounts.

Playing with multiple accounts is a hugely unfair advantage. If you have any issues with this policy, please address the SGO: Dr. Leprechan, in private.
