Answer's a bit subjective, I personally like South Argentina (Axis, I think?), SW Africa (Axis), any of the Pan-Asians really, but Indochiina will forever be in my heart. Haven't play much WaW so can't answer for Allied or Comintern, sorry.

Egypt is one of the more powerful countries for one reason. It has more provinces than any other country. Each province gives the same amount of manpower and cash, so the more the better. However it doesn't have rare material at the province level and doesn't have access to small AI to grow on. It also has a lot of coast to defend, to include three coastal cities. You would need to control the entire Mediterranean and Red Sea to restrict access to the coast of your core. Certainly possible, but not in the early game.Kyrollous wrote:

Alberta is a great commie country, you start in a pretty safe spot where you can expand and only have to fight a small number of players, I believe you have goods which is great for the doctrine you are using. Your core is inland enough so that it can’t be quickly naval invaded, however you are not in the middle of a huge amount of other countries.
For the allied doctrine, South Africa is great for a similar reason. You just have to push up north without too much to fear. Your country is larger than average iirc, and taking over Africa with them is usually a breeze.
