I can't imagine how time consuming it is to monitor the actions of every forum member, not to mention lag due to the extra graphics required to see all that.

Don't underestimate the available capacity! There's a nine-storey office building in the outskirts of Hamburg which is the Bytro HQ. The game designers, developers, QA people, marketing staff, and all other useful people are hosted in two rooms on the third floor. The rest of the building is filled with moderators who watch all games, follow all forum users in whatever they do, and figure out the social media accounts of all players to see if they do anything interesting over there as well.BluPanzer wrote:
