I don't exactly remember what this looks like, but yeah, the event maps often have a maximumm duration. Check the "game rules" tab and compare it to the current day, and see if they match.

What does this Timer icon mean?
I have a timer on one of my event maps, the Anonymous FFA. Is is a game ending timer or something else?
