Well that moment of rising from slumber is called "waking up"... and the past tense of that expression would be that "you woke up this morning"...
Now if you "woke from utter nonsense"... you must have had a serious nap... maybe a coma... you might want to seek some medical attention young sir. It doesn't sound very good.
