What happens when country's last province is occupied?

When a country's last province is conquered, what happens to any remaining cash or other resources of that country? Can the player continue to use his cash for espionage purposes, and convert any other remaining resources to cash for espionage? Does the player retain the ability to command his country's orphan units and fight a guerrilla war? I have never been completely eliminated from a game before, so I have no practical experience in these consequences.

When the last province had been took all the resources and cash are being taken from the player, as soon as the player won't get a province again he will not receive any resources, The player tho can still move his soldiers around and for example, take over an AI country of let's say 6 provinces, and then the player is back in the game as normal, i've done it before as only 6 of my units survived, then i took over some provinces and i was back in the game as normal.

Thanks for the reply, Mathex.

The closest I've ever come to that scenario was against a gold-bomber who dropped something like 200,000 gold units and spammed a 240-unit army (including 60 tactical bomber and fighter squadrons!) in the first 10 days of a Pacific map game. I've never seen anything like it before or since. Once I realized what was going on and decided I was unwilling to spend anything like a comparable amount, I simply evacuated three quarters of my 80-unit army from mainland Asia and convoyed them to allied Australia, where we set them up as static defense for my ally before I quit the game. Because I still had a couple of offshore provinces, I was able to preserve some cash and resources, which I transferred to allies. In a moment of scorched-earth vindictiveness, I also transferred my capital province to another ally, eliminating any ability of the gold-bomber to get a cash windfall for capturing my capital.
