I know I’m late but there is one I’d like to talk to you about. I got Germany in HWW and create a coalition. I was trying to get Japan but they choose not to join, so I end up with the Netherlands and UK in my alliance. Uk is half active and will end up going inactive, but it takes them about a week or two, where some crazy stuff happens.
So I of course quickly invade and take over Poland and Luxembourg, while Netherlands takes Belgium. I get into talks with Italy and France, but tensions rise, and eventually I decide to go to war with France. Italy also attacks me. My allies are no where to be found, eventually the UK goes inactive and the Netherlands is there but ignoring me, eventually using the excuse of not being strong enough to help. Still though, I manage to outsmart and crush France, Italy, and push them into Africa. Interestingly they remain active and trying to fight me.
The Soviet Union attacks me, I am annoyed but manage to start pushing them back; their Air Force and AA sucks and can’t stop mine. But then I wake up to insanity. France and Italy are attempting to invade me from Africa, The US declares war and begins to invade me, Yugoslavia is also attempting a surprise attack, but offered share map so I managed to see through their plans and decide to declare war and outsmart their plan. And of course the Netherlands betrays and attacks me. The Soviet Union also managed to sneak into a whole and almost reach Berlin, by I manage to stop them.
I decide to go to global and recruit two players into the game. It was still not full, I think it was a 5000 gold game that I joined to get a good country from early. I convince a player to join in Egypt, India, and Persia. The Indian and Persian end up helping me with the Soviet Union, creating a distraction that makes pushing them easier. Meanwhile with the help of Indian spies I manage to crush an attempted US naval invasion, and throw back the French and Italians. I also wipe out Yugoslavia who sent all their units to sea, taking over their country and deleting their units before they could properly use them. Egypt eventually attacks the Italians and French, finally.
The Persians go inactive and Japan starts taking over East Asia, I mostly take over the Soviet Union with some Indian support. The US continues to try to invade me but is thrown back and takes heavy casualties cause no matter where they try to invade. I’m the meantime I lock down and conquer all of Europe, Egypt takes all of Africa, Japan all of east asia, and Australia, who is the only other active player between all of us attacks the Dutch East Indies.
I eventually make the decision to betray Egypt for Japan, and invade them, they decide to not attack the Americans and work with them against me, but don’t stand a chance and are completely crushed, I take Africa. Eventually all of the Middle East and most at of Asia minus the Island parts of South east Asia are ours. I support my Allie’s with the fleet and invade Australia, making to sure to leave them alive so they get some gold in the end. I also nuke the US. Multiple times. And finally, I win. My enemies incompetence helped quite a lot, along with sneaking in allies, but I still managed some insane feats overall. Crazy game.
