this was posted before a few months ago...Latvia is too small and only has 1 city. If You do play it, you will have a serious disadvantage.

Why can't i play as Latvia in Clash of Nations map/gamemode??
Hi there to whoever is reading this, i'm a somewhat new player to CoW and i wanted to know why it isn't possible to play as Latvia in Clash of Nations?
As of now i am only Lvl. 3 and i can only play Clash of Nations and i want to play as Latvia but i can't.
And if it isn't possible to play as Latvia on other gamemodes, why?

There is the all in event where you can play Latvia but other than that map you can't play it.

But I won’t recommend trying this unless you are very experienced, because you can easily be attacked and destroyed if any powerful nation decides to. Even if you manage to grow big, you will have resource problems as you don’t have all resources.revengegirl wrote:

once in all in all I played as bohemia and got some ground after taking the Baltics and poland and germany. At the end I became 2nd place

I won coalition victory as El Salvador. (Cuz mexico and central america was inactive at start only) though USA was really tough to destroy.RiverWolf74 wrote:

Latvia is not the worst :
I can totally believe victory as El Salvador, as it has a lot of what Latvia has : small tiny countries immediately next-by, and a way to get in the correct set of alliances.
I doubt you won as Tannu Tavau though.

I was allied with Germany and China. China blasted the mongolian army and Germany destroyed the soviet army. I took all of Mongolia and the Soviet east (all of the units had been moved west only to be destroyed by Germany. Germany pretty much let me take over the USSR and focused on europe while China let me take Mongolia and moved onto taking out Japan. You have to remember that All in events are timed these conquests pretty much took my miltia and AC the entire game.
Yes, I was a one of those coalition members that stole land from the others but still, I won.
