Why use rocket fighter

Why should I use rocket fighter? Isn’t it just like a interceptor but with smaller range and 1 lvl?

Interceptors for offensive, rocket fighters for defence.

Rocket fighters are stronger than max level Interceptors. Although the range and specialization makes me not like them much, a stack of them is practically unstoppable in air.

Do you think the conflicts would be more fun and immersive if the ranges of fighters were extended to that of say Tactical Bombers?

Do you think having the limitation of range does anything useful for the game play?

Possibly, but it also depends on how it was historically like to me. Kinda like using that as a baseline for some reason. But it would be a pretty good idea.

The limitation of range makes Tacs very powerful. It becomes kinda hard to combat them at one point. The thing is that someone with interceptors only would always defeat someone with mixed planes, making it easy to combat air and knock that entire part of the game out.

It's better than the people who read nothing on the forum, and ask the same questions that have been asked and answered 100 times. Like it's a personal help line.
