Read around a few threads on the forums. They have to be seen as game breaking and overpowered, as they have few counters with the right stack creation. This has been a problem for year, which Bytro finally managed to adress.

Why was the railroad gun nerfed?
There was nothing wrong with the railroad gun, no need to nerf it.
