If the carrier is moving and the plane is getting out of range, the plane will automatically move back to the aircraft carrier and land. Planes going from the aircraft carrier into convoys are not a thing in COW.

I've got an aircraft carrier with naval air on the move and like to patrol around for the odd snack and watch for subs. Will the planes auto land if the carrier moves out of their normal range?

Hah inmagine planes turning in to convoys.funny.
You can ship planes but just not from air craft carriers. If you do not know, all units turn into convoys when placed into the water but they can't from air craft carriers.
Thanks! I was only concerned about a Carrier moving out of a patrolling planes range. Imagine a pilots anger to turn around home only to find the carrier had gone off and left them. No bueno.
