Things are not exactly as it would be in real life. There was no country called Michigan and the southern us(as a country) was never around during WWII.

in actual history Windsor has been a part of canada since the 18's when they agree to join part as canadain province to increase trade power and support the line connecting a food focus province of trade and has always been apart of canada as it is close boarders to the capital of canadain province ottawa or atleast make a province area of which it stands in the map as part of a province in canada

If I'm right Ottawa itself is a state so even that isn't realistic.
