1991 Role Play: Brainstorming and Planning

NOTE: THIS THREAD IS A CONTINUATION OF: 1991 Role Play (Original Thread)

**NOTE: THIS IS JUST AN IDEA FOR NOW UNTIL ANY CURRENT FORUM RP GAMES END AND IF WE GET ENOUGH PARTICIPANTS**

Here we can discuss ideas about planning the roleplay, including what bloc nations should be in, landgrabbing issues, bloc balancing, etc. I'm going to put down people's names here who want certain nations, although nobody's locked in just yet - everyone has an opportunity to sign up for the nation they want. Major powers, such as Russia, USA, UK, etc. will only be given to trusted community members who have previous RP experience.

Western Bloc (NATO):

The captain of the neutral team would be chosen later.

Countries with an asterisk (*) will only be available for players with previous RP experience, as we will need quailty performances from these nations for the RP to play out adequately.

Also, so this thread doesn't turn into a 20-page off-topic s**tshow, please ONLY DISCUSS THINGS RELATED TO THE PLANNED 1991 RP HERE. Thank you.

Regardless of how much he is an asshole or whatever, you’d be banned from future RP’s if you don’t leave. That is a yes or no answer, pick one thing or the other.

Not your choice to make either way.

Polish guy’s gonna have to write an article if he wants a chance at Russia and actually show some interesting things in the RP. Fact is he hasn’t written many articles or been active. The 1914 as the UK is also not the best look…

Claudio seems to have written all of his articles, but I am not Claudio. I’m not trying to insult you, and trying to counter with Ad-hominems is not helpful. Out is you’re gonna need to earn Russia, because as it is your record on past RP games is not impressive.

My bad, thought this was a different thread. Still relevant: countries important as Russia and America are gonna have to show their abilities to earn those countries…

True, but I hadn't played an RP before and I'm playing as Germany. Even though I'm far from the best player on the map (in fact, one of the worst, rank-wise at least), I've done an OK job so far I think.

Russia and the United States cannot just be given to anyone and the person who takes them needs to be proven as a good RP’er. End of story.

Yes but without Russia the game is basically over. A good Russia and America makes or breaks this smaller scale map. Germany is not as important; even though you aren’t able to do much the game still goes on.

That has an Asterisk as well, you’d once again need to prove your skill… Articles and actions required. Want a major? Take a bigger role in the current RP, do more things, and prepare to write an article here. I of course am not founding this so I don’t get the ultimate choice of who gets each country, but reading what Brando wrote that seems to be the thing that will prove you.
