1991 Role Play: Brainstorming and Planning

NOTE: THIS THREAD IS A CONTINUATION OF: 1991 Role Play (Original Thread)

**NOTE: THIS IS JUST AN IDEA FOR NOW UNTIL ANY CURRENT FORUM RP GAMES END AND IF WE GET ENOUGH PARTICIPANTS**

Here we can discuss ideas about planning the roleplay, including what bloc nations should be in, landgrabbing issues, bloc balancing, etc. I'm going to put down people's names here who want certain nations, although nobody's locked in just yet - everyone has an opportunity to sign up for the nation they want. Major powers, such as Russia, USA, UK, etc. will only be given to trusted community members who have previous RP experience.

The captain of the neutral team would be chosen later.

Countries with an asterisk (*) will only be available for players with previous RP experience, as we will need quailty performances from these nations for the RP to play out adequately.

Also, so this thread doesn't turn into a 20-page off-topic s**tshow, please ONLY DISCUSS THINGS RELATED TO THE PLANNED 1991 RP HERE. Thank you.

Probably something like April, maybe March if people here are up to it. I just know there was a lot of drama related to the previous RP, so some people wanted to take a 'cool down' period before the next one.

Tbh, I don't think I'll be able to do it until May, although I suspect that won't be much of an issue

Previous track record losing in RP’s (he went inactive as Spain, was easily humiliated as France, and got crushed as Japan)

General trigger happy moves that could start a major war early and damage him like in last RP

And apparently you used cards at one point?

They are placing a very high standard for the US and Russia, so mercy is hard to come by.

Well, the inactivity was before the RP started. France, i actually won almost every war and lost at the end. And Japan RP was nice.

Really? Iirc you were defeated in a certain early war in Africa as France.. for spain you were playing but decided to delete your account at the worst possible time. And as for Japan, you RP well, but not enough War skill shown to play the most important country on this map…

No, that was in Belgium, but the war was won by me. France never fought anything in Africa other than the last war.

Japan wars were mostly been one sided (I was winning in China, then he did the thing).

Yes, again, good, but after that? You didn’t rebuild very well, letting resources pile up and doing nothing with them… when I let you go you went to war with Australia and lost, you would have been eventually defeated by them even if their allies didn’t help. Just not enough there to be the most important country on this map, microing and commencing diplomacy with everyone and administering your allies.

No, sam surrendered to Zhukov without really fighting. Then Sam fought mostly with me. He wanted paris, then got sued gor defeat. I made italy and spain surrender.
