Here we can discuss ideas about planning the roleplay, including what bloc nations should be in, landgrabbing issues, bloc balancing, etc. I'm going to put down people's names here who want certain nations, although nobody's locked in just yet - everyone has an opportunity to sign up for the nation they want. Major powers, such as Russia, USA, UK, etc. will only be given to trusted community members who have previous RP experience.
Czechoslovakia (AI) (Remember Czechoslovakia didn't break up until 1993)
The captain of the neutral team would be chosen later.
Countries with an asterisk (*) will only be available for players with previous RP experience, as we will need quailty performances from these nations for the RP to play out adequately.

I believe the tory party is supportive of imperialism, and that is generally not the best.
However personally I do have a slightly more conservative view on politics and support the party in general. I am rather uniformed on British politics and may be entirely wrong though.

Well I am British, so I can answer this I suppose.
Opposing Scottish independence is really not that controversial over here. I'm 50% Scottish myself, and the entire Scottish side of my family doesn't support it, because we recognise that Westminster provides Scotland with basically everything it has, and would be pretty disastrous for the country to be abandoned basically for the sake of Scottish "Pride", or whatever bullshit Barry from down the pub is talking about today.
I'm not aware of the Tories actively supporting Colonialism, however I know that there are private businesses from London that own diamond mines in Burkina Faso that mainly run on Child Labour that the Tories have turned a pretty hefty blind eye to. But I don't think most Tories would support it if Rishi Sunak (our Prime Minister) said "Fuck it, we want India back" (which would be very strange, considering both of Sunak's parents are Indian immigrants themselves), so I don't think that statement is fully accurate. That said, very controversially in recent months, the Tories have been trying to force through a bill that would allow them to deport any and all illegal immigrants in the country to Rwanda of all countries (despite the fact many of these illegal immigrants came over more than 50 years ago from places like Jamaica), an action that Sunak said in a Prime Ministerial debate against the Labour leader, Keir Starmer, said that he would leave the European Convention of Human Rights in order to complete. This is all not to mention the absolute mess that the party has been in for the past couple of years. I won't go into it now, but to summarise: Sex scandals, illegal parties in quarantine, lots (and I mean LOTS) of lying, racism, Prime Ministers that could not keep their position for more than 50 days, etc etc etc.
To conclude, Fuck the Tories and Vote Labour

Literally any major opposition party could beat them in an election right now, including the decayed lettuce that outlasted Liz Truss. Starmer basically has the country handed to him on a civil platter right now.
