Here we can discuss ideas about planning the roleplay, including what bloc nations should be in, landgrabbing issues, bloc balancing, etc. I'm going to put down people's names here who want certain nations, although nobody's locked in just yet - everyone has an opportunity to sign up for the nation they want. Major powers, such as Russia, USA, UK, etc. will only be given to trusted community members who have previous RP experience.
Czechoslovakia (AI) (Remember Czechoslovakia didn't break up until 1993)
The captain of the neutral team would be chosen later.
Countries with an asterisk (*) will only be available for players with previous RP experience, as we will need quailty performances from these nations for the RP to play out adequately.
Also, so this thread doesn't turn into a 20-page off-topic s**tshow, please ONLY DISCUSS THINGS RELATED TO THE PLANNED 1991 RP HERE. Thank you.

I personally didn't have any real-life issues (although others did) and upon further evaluation, Libya, Ukraine, Finland and Morocco have also not been active lately. That makes 6 inactive players, plus the UK makes 7 open spots. So not "just a couple" as you said.
you start the idea, don't do it, now I'm the problem? And those people were active until very recently, you could've started by then.

To be honest, it wasn’t his fault. The mods in general were either too busy or choose not be active for some reason. There wasn’t much that could be realistically done. The only possible solution would be to stop yelling at others like children and do our best to revive the forums. If we’re lucky, we might be able to bring some of it back. A lot of people from last RP being salty about how it ended and getting into arguments made quite a few people leave as well…

People like Imperator don eventually went inactive because of the non stop delays, there are probably more people like him who showed great interest but eventually lost interest in this.
Claudio arranged a forum game, and it has already been a month since it ended. I'm not saying that arranging a normal forum game is same as arranging a RP, of course, the RP takes a lot more effort but this shows that inactivity is not that big of an issue, we need to replace all the inactive people and get some active ones, we can also reduce the amount of countries, this is how we can start this, otherwise, wait for 2025(And wait for 2026 after that).

You both are moderators, so you wouldn't like to blame yourself would you? Love how it isn't his fault at all that he hasn't managed to start the RP. Whatever point that I've made was absolutely correct, you cannot disprove me in that. Alex is just not fit to run this game.

When the mods were active, he chose to do nothing, also, realistically, how many moderators do you need to start this when the rules are already drafted. He took weeks to change a single country name. You're just proving that he's not fit to run this.

To say he had no role at all (when he literally was idle and had the mods do everything) is a completely foolish and wrong opinion. Any, competent admin could easily start and finish the game 2 months ago. He didn't.
