Basic Timeline
Start Date: January, 1st 2015
It has been a little less than a year now since the Russian Federation officially annexed the Crimean Peninsula from the Ukraine due to the ousting of Pro-Russian Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych and due to increasing Anti-Russian Sentiment in Ukraine. In the Donbass region of the country Civil War continues to run rampant throughout the region with Pro-Russian Rebels taking control of the Donetsk and Luhansk provinces of Ukraine while being supposedly supplied by the Russian Government.
In the Middle East the Syrian Civil War rages on with hundreds of thousands of civilians and soldiers dying so far in what has become one of the deadliest conflicts in the Twenty First Century.
In the East the Peoples Republic of China continues to expand its hold in the South China Sea with continued naval build up and creation of artificial islands to protect China's interests in the region.
The world is becoming increasingly volatile and some say it is only a matter of time before another major war will break out. The question is which side of that war will you be on?

Role-play Example: Years ago when I took power by a coup I promised everyone in my country that we would one day join the soviet union as an ally to open trade among our people and the people of Kazakhstan. My people were oppressed by a deeply corrupted Democratic government and the people of Romania yearned for change in leadership and government and were willing to have anything, so then, as a part of the military of Romania, me and my fellow comrades over months created a plan and with enough force was able to overthrow the government and establish our own Despot government. We are now planning to re-build the population, increase healthcare, and produce more technology and highways. Before people were stuck in an oppressed government, Now Romania will rise as an economic power, and establish strong relations with fellow communist nations.

indeed it is. and with all that land, he will be able to put out lots of troops....
Yeah that is what scares me when that happens Russia is gonna be impossible to take down with that many troops he can have.

He means in game.
Almost impossible to take down. only other superpower really is the UnitedStates. Hopefully he gets some good allies so we can have a balanced roleplay.
A question: can more countries be accepted into NATO or otter alliances created, or must they stay the same all throughout the game?
