Basic Timeline
Start Date: January, 1st 2015
It has been a little less than a year now since the Russian Federation officially annexed the Crimean Peninsula from the Ukraine due to the ousting of Pro-Russian Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych and due to increasing Anti-Russian Sentiment in Ukraine. In the Donbass region of the country Civil War continues to run rampant throughout the region with Pro-Russian Rebels taking control of the Donetsk and Luhansk provinces of Ukraine while being supposedly supplied by the Russian Government.
In the Middle East the Syrian Civil War rages on with hundreds of thousands of civilians and soldiers dying so far in what has become one of the deadliest conflicts in the Twenty First Century.
In the East the Peoples Republic of China continues to expand its hold in the South China Sea with continued naval build up and creation of artificial islands to protect China's interests in the region.
The world is becoming increasingly volatile and some say it is only a matter of time before another major war will break out. The question is which side of that war will you be on?

No countries outside of Europe are allowed into NATO first of all 
To maintain balance Players can make alliances just dont make Military Alliances often.
Also with the conversation about Russia being so strong keep in mind wars are not meant to be WW2 style more like a war that lasts four or so Real Life days then end with minor concessions to the victor.
You grossly overestimate Russia's power and capabilities. Yes, it is quite a bit stronger than any other single nation other than the United States, (which I would argue, is probably just as strong, if not slightly stronger in resources/economy), but European based NATO as a whole isn't that weak either. Assuming everyone is capable of working together as allies, the combined European economy and military could quite easily be on par with mine, or even surpass mine.
Russia, in theory is forced to deploy troops all throughout Russia. They need to station troops to directly defend against Sweden, against China, against the Baltic nations, and against the Ukraine, whilst also worrying about a dozen other nations who are in a position to rapidly move in to assist in a war. They also need to keep sufficient forces to deal with a possible US landing in the far east, in case I decide that contingency plan #16 is to open up a second front, occupy Vladivostok, and force Russia to further divide its forces across a nation where travel time can be measured in days, and force a favorable peace deal of some sort in the event of a war.
Of course, these would be limited in scope wars. If anyone decides its time to completely kill/destroy Russia without extremely good reason (eg Russia nuking London), I'll either join the war on Russia's side OOCly to avoid the game being completely and utterly messed up, and perhaps go Nuclear, if I have nukes at the time.
I plan on basing my military and economy directing with Russia as we share such a large boarder with one another. With my troops if a front was to open on both sides, I would gladly assist Russia with defense.
the point is to show the USA, China, and Russia are the superpowers, and not one country alone can bring it down, other than each other.WarriorbullDog wrote:

If I recall correctly, those three African countries only chose to align with NATO after Arabia/Egypt chose to align with Russia

In that role play scenario i was the Russian Empire reformed in a council of all countries sectors.
I have implemented my regime (imperialism)thru out,i have created a very diplomatic positive state while fulfilling the unity of the fallen Russian Empire that was lost in WW1.Negotiated with polish president about splitting the communist country due to a dispute and it went down successfully and we both avoided a big war.
I will sadly have not been able to leave a saved article from it but the way i play i try avoiding war if i can.
I was also a Supremacy 1914 role player so im no stranger to any role plays,in fact role play is my favorite way to play this game.

Are we allowed to advance out tech thru specific period of time or after a while?I mean after a large period are we allowed general advancement in techs?
Are we suppose to role play the current situation or our own scenario but with today's set up of events?Do we need a similar political situation in our countries like current one?
