Basic Timeline
Start Date: January, 1st 2015
It has been a little less than a year now since the Russian Federation officially annexed the Crimean Peninsula from the Ukraine due to the ousting of Pro-Russian Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych and due to increasing Anti-Russian Sentiment in Ukraine. In the Donbass region of the country Civil War continues to run rampant throughout the region with Pro-Russian Rebels taking control of the Donetsk and Luhansk provinces of Ukraine while being supposedly supplied by the Russian Government.
In the Middle East the Syrian Civil War rages on with hundreds of thousands of civilians and soldiers dying so far in what has become one of the deadliest conflicts in the Twenty First Century.
In the East the Peoples Republic of China continues to expand its hold in the South China Sea with continued naval build up and creation of artificial islands to protect China's interests in the region.
The world is becoming increasingly volatile and some say it is only a matter of time before another major war will break out. The question is which side of that war will you be on?

Aww, I wanted to be Peru. But I'm Israel. XD As Israel, though, because I joined as Syria, the Syrian rebels conquered quite a bit of my territory and since I only have Jerusalem as a big manpower province, I am in deficit of 36 manpower per hour.President Magnum2016 wrote:

Country I wish to play: Republic of the Union of Myanmar (Burma)
National Leader: Htin Kyaw (technically wasn't leader until march of 2016, but became leader after the general elections in November of 2015, in which the military backed Thein Sein was defeated. Between those months they were in a transitional period controlled by National League for Democracy. I plan to show this in my RP because it happened very closely to the start of this particular game, unless you want me to do otherwise. I think It will be fun though.

Hello and good day to you fellow members of the South Asian Alliance for Regional Cooperation. I am presenting an entreaty on behalf of the glorious nation of Burma. I am confident that you will come to the same conclusions I will.
Although Burma and Oudh do not currently and have not worked together in the past, we both have the same goals in mind for out people. We want to raise them out of poverty and squalider. We wish for our people to be able to rival the European nations in standards of living. It is why I have developed my country’s infrastructure, and started building factories. It is why he built harbors and factories as well. It is why any of you have done anything, and it why we joined together in the first place, so that we can help each other by helping ourselves. Thus by not allowing Burma to join us, we are stunting our own growth by excluding them from our markets. And God forbid, if our coalition came under attack I would much rather have the Burmese fighting for us and not against us.
