2nd Global Summit - 1941 (RP)

What will we talk about? Good to have moved it to Istanbul.

First, we express our Joy at having reunited most of the Muslim world. We solely wish to now rebuild our country and improve our infrastructure. We wish to discuss many subjects, from violation of trade routes to Imperialism.

China, a country of 300 million persons and a member of the alliance, has not been invited to this global summit. The Republic of China requests that its representatives be granted participation.

I know I'm not hosting it this time, but I'm pretty sure that everyone is invited.

The entire world is invited.

Our main agenda is the future of the GEP and certain transactions with France.

We also now announce the taxation of the following waterways

Dardanelles

Gulf of Aden

Bab el Mandeb

Suez Canal

Strait of Hormuz

Strait of Gibraltar

Any nation wishing to trade through these waterways must pay 20000 cash every year.

Exceptions may be secured through a treaty, for example France, which only pays 14000 per year for use of theses waterways.

Movement of warships through these waterways is banned except if a written waiver has been provided by the Ottoman Minister of Marine.

Allies (share map) are of course exempt.
