Alternative 1937 Roleplay

Alternative History:

-GERMANY- In 1934, The Fuhrer of Germany, was assassinated, leaving Germany, once again in a Political Crisis, As The Fuhrer's Deputy Leader assumed charge, The German Communist party, staged a coup against Him, leading to a full blown Civil War. Austria + Czechoslovakia began supporting the Fascist party, and were invaded by the Communist party, Even now, at the 1st January 1937, the Civil War rages on, the Communists have succeeded, and they have yet to invade Slovakia, the last Fascist hold-out left.

-UNITED KINGDOM- The Great Depression hit harder than anyone could ever imagine in the U.K. with the wave of poverty sweeping over the empire, so came the wave of rebellions for independence, Including India. Though the U.K. Managed to stabilise the Empire, The British Union of Fascists, lead by Oswald Mosely, with gaining popularity, prepare to take leadership, as today is the eve of the General Election... Will Britain Fall to Fascism?

-UNITED STATES OF AMERICA- The United States, has assumed world power, albeit fragile, after the Great Depression. There is Very Little Change with the United States of America, other than the fact that the U.S. Is preparing an Amphibious invasion of Panama, to annex the Panama Canal, but France has guaranteed the independence of Panama, Will War begin over just a small nation with a canal?

-ITALY- Benito Mussolini has remained in power, despite other Fascist powers in Europe rising, and Eventually Falling. In 1935, the First Alpine War begun: A War where Switzerland was invaded by the Italian Empire, to install a Fascist Regime, an act that astonished the world. Italy was embarrassed at it's failure due to invade the small nation due to it's Guerrilla fighting, upon the Mountains. In 1936, the Second Alpine War begun, and again Italy tried to invade Switzerland, to not only install a Fascist Regime, but get revenge on the embarrassing defeat, with thousands of deaths, the War was Won, and Italy, with a childlike sense of immortality, will begin to assert dominance all over Europe

-FRANCE- The Alpine Wars, had scared France, Greatly, With Civil War in Germany, and War in Italy, France is Surrounded. It has been in their best interests to try to promote peace around the world. With the United Kingdom being consumed by Fascism, they have no allies, and they have further tarnished their reputation by guaranteeing the independence of Panama, and if America Would Invade the Country, France will be called to war, France also are preparing to aid British India in it's bid for independence.

-BRITISH INDIA- After a failed rebellion against their masters during the Great Depression, British India holds a great grudge against the UK, and are preparing a second Rebellion, with the aid of France. In these times, it's all anyone can talk about, and thousands of young men over the country are forming their own militias to help the independence bid. Without British Knowledge, the Rebellion will take them by surprise. Though the Rebellion will not be easy, and they will get problems from Australia.

-AUSTRALIA- The Nation of Australia is a nervous wreck. With their overlords in political turmoil, The Empire of Japan has made their intentions of ruling the pacific, with Australia with it, leading Australia to have to desperately make any measures to stop Japan from beating China. Tonight they hold a referendum on whether or not to join the Chinese-Japanese War.

-JAPAN- The Ambitious Emperor of the Japanese, Hirohito, has plans to unite all oriental people's and the Pacific under one banner. As he fights against the Chinese, in a long and gruelling war, The nations of the USSR and Australia threaten intervention, and if this happens, the War will become far more brutal and bloody, and not necessarily victorious.

-CHINA- Though the Communists of China were defeated before the Japanese Invasion, they have recently declared independence from us, and without a military force to ensure this does not happen, they have created their own socialist republic away from our Nation! Though we are guaranteed international aid from many nations, It is left to us to ride out the Japanese Storm.

-USSR- In 1929, The Bolsheviks began an Invasion against the Polish, Despite initial Success, The Russian's could not break past the Many Defensive lines defending Warsaw. At the Battle of Bialystok, The Russian Armies suffered many Casualties, leading to the Russians settling for a White Peace, with paying war reparations to the Polish. At the same time, Many civilians in the Urals staged protests against the Communist Government. With the Economy in ruins, and general reputation of the Communists low, Joseph S. has used Poland and Europe as the Scapegoat for the Country's Problems...

-CANADA- During the Rebellions of the British Empire, Canada peacefully pushed forward demands for full independence, though, rejected, they have complete control of their country in every way except, some money is paid to the UK. However, with Fascism rising in Britain, the taxes, will be once again increased, and thus, Canada attempt to create an alliance with the U.S.

-SPAIN- The Civil War is one year old, and Communist Spain has Bee-lined towards Valencia, and the Nationalists are being Beaten back, though they are running on funds from Italy, as the Communists are running on funds from Communism. This Proxy war creates tensions around Europe, as Italian and Russians fight openly.

Rules:

-Democratic Nations may not declare wars on other nations without a valid reason

-Post to the Newspaper once a day

-Be Creative and name Battles, Treaties and Wars

-Only 5 Coalitions allowed at a time

-Use proper grammar and get spelling correct

-Use the Diplomacy tab often, interact with other nations

-Trade often to get your economy flowing

-If you win a war, you cannot fully annex the country, you can take the amount of provinces allowed due to the scale of the war (see below)

-You may puppet nations that you beat in wars, meaning that you can order them to join your wars, and pay money.

-Surrenders must be accepted

- 1 Hour = 1 Ingame Day

-JAPAN and CHINA are at War!!

War Types:

There are different types of wars that happen depending on the amount of participants, and their world power

-Crisis:

A Crisis can happen when a Stronger nation issues an ultimatum to a weaker nation, and the two countries are on the brink of war, Most of the time, war will be avoided. War can begin but it will only be considered a Crisis if it peacefully ends, if the war continues it will move onto a minor war

-Minor War:

A Minor War is a war between two small nations, or a Large nation and a Small Nation, They Usually are very one sided, and will end rather quickly. It can however be escalated if other nations if they join in.

-Major War:

A Major War is a war between two large nations, or a Large nation and many small nations, They Usually are equal and can last a long time. Countries would be advised to go into total mobilisation, and pump out as many divisions as possible.

-World War:

A World War is where many Nations of different power are fighting each other, They are usually equal in power and last a ling time. Countries would be advised to go into total mobilisation, and pump out as many divisions as possible. For a World War to begin, there has to be at least one Colonial Power (e.g. UK or France)

-Civil War

Civil War is an internal War. The Game will begin, with Germany and Spain undergoing a civil war. A Civil War is player determined. As long as Spain and Germany, write about updates in the Civil War, just about anything can happen. They can be vague, or they can be extremely detailed.

War Demands

If You are the winner of a war, you can make these demands depending on the type of war.

-Demand Money, (Between 1000-50,000)

-Demand Province (only 1 Province if it is a Crisis)(2 If Minor War)(4 If Major War)(6 Each if World War)

-Demand Army (If Major War or above)

-Change Government (If Minor War or above)

-Create Puppet (If Minor War or above (can only be used on a minor nation, in a minor war))

-Demand any Resource (Between 100-3000)

-Demand Demilitarised Zone (In any 5 provinces)

War Reasons

You can Declare War on other nations for these reasons (F - Fascism, you can only declare war if you are Fascist) (C - Can only declare war if you are Communist (D - Can only Declare war if you are Democratic)

-Change Government (D,F,C)

-Claim Provinces if you have a very good reason (F,C)

-Independence War. (British India, Australia or Canada. Or any other Puppet)

-Claim Major Trade Region, (F,C,D - If you are democratic you are prone to getting declared war on)

Ideologies

-Fascism - An aggressive Ideology that is dedicated to becoming a world power.

-Democracy - An Ideology of peace

-Communism - An aggressive Ideology.
