Empires of Antiquity is a Roleplay Round based around the period surrounding the Rise of Rome. The RP starts in 265 BC and will allow players to build up their own empires and attempt to hold them together through many crisis' and conflicts.

You may be wondering how we have translated Call of War into an ancient setting and how that works, luckily we created a series of rules and methods to best translate the mechanics of Call of War into this period in history which you can check out on our Discord Server where the RP has been organized.

The map above is designed not to be completely historically accurate to the period and instead attempts to combine accuracy with balancing and in-game limitations. Because of this, large combined factions such as the Celts are representative of a larger confederation of smaller tribes and confederations which possess their own mechanics as part of the Roleplay.

Currently the Roleplay has started its Landswapping phase and the round has been created, all we need now are the final few slots filled. the currently available states which require players are as follows:

Southern Celts: Gallic Tribes threatened by Roman expansion and bordering several tribal confederacies.

Northern Slavs: A Confederation of Slavic and Baltic Tribes which frequently clash with the nomadic horsemen of the Scythian Empire.

Parthian Empire: A rising Eastern Empire which seeks to rival the waning power of the Seleucids and who may one day become the unquestioned rulers of the Mid East.

Kingdom of Dacia: A Balkan Kingdom surrounded by possible rivals or new routes of expansion

Kingdom of Thrace: [size=12]A Kingdom of mixed Greek and Balkan culture which maintains the strength to threaten the Greeks or unite the Balkans.[/size]

Kingdom of Odryssia: A Kingdom which borders the mighty Scythians and thus is a victem of their occasional raids. The Kingdom also maintains a status of a melting pot of Greek and Balkan culture.

Kingdom of Armenia: An Eastern Kingdom which has established itself in the Caucasus and acts as a buffer between larger and more powerful Empires yet may one day grow to rival them.
