History:In the 19 century Serbia began 1st serbian uprising and got the northen serbia.In the 20 century Serbia was allied with other balkan countries and started balkan wars.Serbia got bigger and stronger since they driven the Ottoman out of Balkan.In ww1 serbia has won the Austrian Hungary,then later it was allied With state of Slovenes Croats and Serbs.Which king Alexander change the name the state of Serbs,Croats and Slovene because serbs were the majority. ww2 Kingdom of Yugoslavia was attacked by Hitler because of its weak army and old technology his son fled to the UK and surrendered to the germans.While partisans were fighting the germans in ww2 led by Field Marshal Tito has won the battle and named his state Socialist Republic of Yugoslavia which he was the leader.SFRY(Socialist republic of Yugoslavia) after the ww2 has decided to make and Non-Alligment movement and preveal peace in the World while NATO and Warshaw pact were fighting.SFRY was the 4th largest army in EU and 5th in the world non only that SFRY was producing its own weapons,phones,tvs,bycicles even cars(Yugo 45a).In 1980 Marshal Tito died the whole Yugoslavia was crying and 1 million people came to his grave over 165 presidents and premieres came to visit his grave.After Tito died Yugoslavia was in big debt 20 billion american dollars.Because of ambitient president Slobodan Milosevic and his collegues tried to make big Serbia so they were making mittings in other Yugoslav republic.Hate between Yugoslav state grew faster and faster so in 1991 SFRY collapsed when Slovenia decleared independance.JNA(Yugoslav People's army) attacked Slovenia and the war was over in 10 days.After war in Slovenia Croatia has decleared its independance as well but Serbia didnt go so easy on Croatia because 600k serbs lived in Croatia and because of Croatian colaboration in ww2 with hitler.So Serbia started a war on Croatia telling UN that they were fighting for Yugoslavia but they weren't they wanted the big Serbia.Macedonia has decleared its independance in 1991 on 8 september.Serbia didnt attacked Macedonia because there werent so much Serbs living in Macedonia.So in 1992 Serbia and Montenegro renamed the their country in to the FRY Federal Republic of Yugoslavia.After that Bosnia decleared war on Serbia there was no way they could avoied the war because 1,2 mil serbs lived in Bosnia and 500k croats.And another war broke out.The war in Croatia ended with 2 major military operations called Flash and Storm which lasted only 6 days.Bosnia had to sign the Dayton pact wich 3 nations lived in Bosnia with 2 states,Federation of Bosnia(Croats and Muslims) and Republica of Srpska(Serbs).Serbia was responcible for killing more then 200k people in the civil war with Croatia and Bosnia together.After Yugoslav civil war Serbia had problem with Kosovo becasue there were about more then 1 million alb people living in Kosovo.So another broke out Usa and the West claimed that Serbia is threat to peace and Europe so they decided if they do no stop the war with albanians in Kosovo that they will bomb FRY.Goverment of FRY did not listen so NATO bombed FRY for 78 days which President Slobodan Milosevic had to surrender.West told him if he does not care about bombing NATO will send its infantry to FRY and had to lose Kosovo.So FRY had now only Serbia and Montenegro as part of the country.Milosevic was overthrown in 7 october 2000 because of the vote cheating so the new president came Vojislav Koštunica to power!They arrested Milosevic Because of the war crimes he did in Former Yugoslavia!
