Napoleonic Wars RP

BACKGROUND

The year is 1800 and Europe has just witnessed a series of startling events that threaten to shake the very foundations of the political hierarchy and establish a new world order. In the wake of the chaotic French Revolution, the ambitious young General, Napoleon has crowned himself the Supreme Dictator of France. Although is socio-economic reforms have proven to be greatly beneficial for France, the Emperor is determined to bring all of continental Europe under the French flag. Across the English Channel, Great Britain, arguably the most powerful European country, has established vast colonies in India, the Americas, Africa and Asia. Britain will stop at nothing to triumph over its arch rival France, and have greater influence over European affairs. Prussia, Russia, the Ottoman Empire, Austria, even Spain have exceedingly ambitious aims to unify Germany, rise to political hegemony and crush their enemies in this turbulent time period. Furthermore, the emrgence of the fledgling USA after a shocking victory against the UK opens up new prospects for establishing trade ties, peace and...war.

ROLEPLAY

In reality, war breaks out after the 1st Coalition attacks France in 1803, forcing France to retaliate and seize much of continental Europe, until its eventual faliure at the Battle of Waterloo in 1815. However, it is only 1800, and you have the power to change the fate of Europe by making important decisions for your country.

There are two war theatres: Europe and North America (East of St. Louis). Countries with a '+' can only partake in battles within Europe, '*' only in N. America and '*+' in both theatres.
