[RPU Training] 1925 Onwards Roleplay: A Slightly Altered History

Italy, a relatively young kingdom. 1861 marked the year of the formation of the Kingdom - a unification of former great kingdoms, duchies, and republics, known for their innovative and scientific advancements throughout the medieval centuries of Europe. However, despite its young age, the Kingdom did not miss its potential for colonial expansion. Just on the opposite side of the Mediterranean sea lies the Italian colony of Libya. Italy prides itself on this African colony, and considers it a de jure part of the Italian Kingdom.

In recent years, with tensions in Europe growing after the Great War, Italy has shifted its national focus to centralisation, with goals of becoming a strong and stable Southern European military power. However, the Italian peninsula offers great potential for expansion, as well as threats. To the East lies the Yugoslavian Republic, the Greek Kingdom, the Remnants of the Ottoman Empire - the Republic of Turkey. To the North, the German people and their iron will of Central European domination. To the West - the proud French, and the isolationist Spaniards. Italy will attempt something that it has not achieved for centuries, or even millennia - to form a Mediterranean Empire, second to only the Roman Empire of old.

After having it's economy shriveled due to the past war, the Parliamentary Republic of The French Third Republic is stumped on what it's next economic move shall be. The war left them broke and with little to none resources to work with. Although President Raymond Poincaré has high hopes for the Republic. Staying away from the negative side of things, Poincaré wants to focus on it's economical power as well as Diplomatic relationships.

President Raymond Poincaré's speech in 1925:

"The current status of this country, is crippled. We will not be able to recover from the tragedies of World War One, alone. We must work together to rebuild this nation and restore it's glory. When have we ever given up? Never!

And we shall not give up now. Our Parliament is working with our allies in an attempt to trade for resources to rebuild our factories and workplaces. We will recreate the Republic together. And Remember, without failure, there can't be success."

Southern States of America, a relatively young republic, still reeling from the loss of a war that killed hundreds of thousands within just a few years. 1865 marked the year of the formation of the republic - a unification of great states, known for their innovative advancements of crop harvesting throughout the first half of the 19th century. However, despite its young age, the republic did not miss its potential for screwing over its Northern neighbors, convincing the the group of states of war crimes committed by, what was then the U.S. government, that would propel them into chaos for the next century.

In recent years, with tensions in North America growing again after the conclusion of the first World War due to exporting power, the Southern States have shifted their focus to industrialization, with goals of becoming the absolute regional power of North America, uninterested in global influence for the moment. The South's many midsize cities offer great potential for expansion into the industrial sector, as well as improvement for agricultural practices. To the East lies the Atlantic Ocean, the gateway for future Southern imperialism. To the North lies the repulsive brother to the Southern states, the ones who lost a war of unification and progress. To the West, the remaining territories of the United States that were never fully settled, land that the Southern states see as resource opportunity. In the coming years, the Southern States seek to achieve a monumental task that both they and their northern neighbor failed to accomplish in the first half of the 1860s, uniting what once were the United States under one banner and one God.

The Weimar Republic

After years of division the Prussian Confederation unites the Germanic people creating the Weimar Republic. Being the center of Europe the Weimar Republic has been fighting most of the conflicts in Europe. During the American Civil War the Weimar Republic supported the NSA seeing that they could make an ally out of the NSA. This created tension between the Weimar Republic and the UK who was mainly supporting the CSA. The Weimar Republic also took apart of fall of the Russian Empire supporting RDFR. With the Russian Empire out of the way the Weimar Republic is know in acting more of its plans. The Wilhelm II continues to rule with major power in Europe. The Weimar Republic intends to win this time and nothing will stop the will of Weimar!

I would like to be The Republic of Ukraine.

As tensions arise in Eastern Europe, President Sasha Petrov has promised its people peace and prosperity. Can't that promise be kept? People throughout Ukraine rejoice of this promise to show that there still hope for humanity. Though, they are uncertain at the same time. Ukraine's Economic issues began to decline and wheat begin to grow. President Sasha Petrov has began the Conscription Act starting next year. He fears that Caucasus and their Northern brothers will initate a war against Ukriane.

United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Please

Despite the British being successful, the British Empire was infinitely shaken, and in a turmoil of stability. With Tensions growing throughout Europe once again, it remains a question if Britain can afford another war of conscriptions and rations, and death. Though the British spirit is of patriotism and jingoism, another crisis could be the straw that breaks the camel's back, and sees the largest empire in human history collapse like a house of cards.

As the The Kingdom of Spain has just pulled out of a civil war and past that has lost all its wealth. The Kingdom of Spain has to come together and fight. The Kingdom of Spain has no war goals but the other Europeans do and to prevent a large war, The Kingdom of Spain has to fight off the rest of the world to give The Kingdom of Spain time to rest. May all odds be with Spain and may the Kingdom live through the Black night to see the bright of day.

The Russian Empire was founded as multiple Soviet states started to betray eachother. General Tarkov of the Soviets Red Army was elected the leader of the Russian empire he stated in his speech " We will restore the Soviet Union to it's rightful state! We will work to benefit the people of the Russian Empire! Our militaries will be ready for any conflict."

Kingdom of Sweden

Ever since the height of its power during the 17th and 18th Centuries, the Monarchy in Sweden has kept Sweden neutral and out of the wars in Europe. However times are changing and as a Constitutional Monarch, King Gustaf V holds little real power. There are growing circles both in Parliament and in the military that would like to see Sweden rise up back to the dominant power in the Baltic that it once was. Now with the election of General Karl von Essen as Prime Minister, many are wondering what the future for Sweden will be.

Also @Gen Tarkov, Your sample article was nice, but I am slightly confused. did you mean to apply for the Soviet Union or the Russian Republic? as the sample you provided seems to be a mix for both of them.

During the 1860's strife and rebelion occured in Yugoslavia due to the possible outbreak of previous wars forcing the government to enact martial law which blocked all froms of travel in and out of the country, and shortly became isolationist country which now is lead by a dictator government, and lead to thousands of lives, hungry. Fast forward to 1925, countless of rebellions occured destroying half of the country over the span of years and now the country is a full blown warzone as the rebels have organized themselves into one true force to be reckoned for the first time, and now the dictatorship is overthrown elections begin once again. (this is where i join)
