[RPU] 1925 Onwards Roleplay: A Slightly Altered History
Introductory Note:
I have seen several roleplays in the previous weeks start and die within the first three weeks, and even in certain cases, the first three days. I would like to state that those who would like to participate will be required to have a discord account in order to both provide appropriate communication and in order to inhibit this sort of inactivity.

Roleplay Lore:
Our story starts in the 1860s. The Failure of the United States of America to reunite has led to the full establishment and recognition of both the United States of America, Formally renaming itself into the Northern States of America (NSA), while the Confederate States reaffirms its sovereignty by re-establishing itself as the Southern States of America (SSA). In all this chaos, a breakaway state, known as the Republic of Michigan is formed, with its capital in Detroit. A following referendum by residents within the city of Windsor in Ontario, Canada choose to enter in union with the Republic of Michigan.
It is now the year 1925. The past war has left both Europe and the rest of the world in partial ruin. Hungarian refusal of the Treaty of Trianon has led to Its invasion and annexation by Romania, now recognizing itself as "Greater Romania". Greek Failures in the Turkish War of Independence has led to Italian and British governments granting Greece control over Cyprus and the Island of Rhodes.
The Russian Civil War has ended in an uncertain compromise between factions, partially recognizing the sovereignty of one another in which both new republics are formed, and nations such as Finland gain vital regions such as Northern Karelia.
Obvious Rules:
1-No Trolling
2-No Gold Usage allowed.
3-No Landgrabbing and random invasions. We are here to roleplay, not kill each other off.
4-Please Be Respectful
5-Follow the Rules.
6-Post on the DE as often as possible, However let me know if you might not be able to post or if you miss a day.
7-The game will not officially begin until Day 1 of the round, so you are not required to post until then, however i would like people to get to know each other, so post on the DE stating who you are.
Other Possibly Obvious Rules:
1- 1 day=6 months, therefore 2 days= 1 year
2- It is good to have general knowledge of post ww1 history and of anything that occurs between nations.
3-If a nation becomes 5 provinces, other nations planning on taking over it have the ability to vassalize that nation.
4-Vassalization: Economic and military control over that nation. you are allowed to gift it provinces if you would like.
5-Be Mindful of Relationship statuses with other nations within this time period.
What Buildings Can I Build?
-Anything, do what you want.
Unit Limits?
None. Spam those Artillery Units!
INFAMY RULES (for maintaining diplomatic order)
Infamy will be the "aggressive expansion" counter for this game in order to ensure that players are not expanding rapidly and uncontrollably.
INFAMY COOLDOWN: infamy drops by 5 for all nations, every 5 days (2.5) years.
-If you are at war for more than 3 years, the infamy cooldown is negated for you until peace.
-Infamy Cooldown stops at 0 infamy.
+50 INFAMY IS THE LIMIT: anything above triggers a coalition war.
Coalition War: Nations Around you gain 0 infamy for taking the amount of provinces that push you over the infamy limit.
+40 Infamy gained for revolting or declaring independence from your overlord
+20 Infamy gained for joining someone's war
+50 Infamy gained for breaking peace periods
(Peace Periods must last longer than 1 year)
+10 Infamy gained for declaring war on a country
+5 Infamy gained for taking a province, for both sides of the war
(if you take someone's province, and he takes it back, you both gain 5 infamy)
+5 Infamy gained for starting a colonial war implemented. ( war conducted in colonies and at sea only - if war is to occur in Europe then a separate post must be made declaring as such and taking the infamy hit for it )
-20 Infamy lost for granting independence to a vassal state
-Anything under 5 provinces is vassalized if it loses a war and is an active player.
-If it is inactive, it loses its provinces as per the infamy rules.

Taking the republic of Finland.

The republic of Finland gained independence in 1917 from the Russian empire and ever since has been in a dangerous position. In the Finnish civil war Mannerheim led us to victory against the reds but now we have a new threat.
The soviets after taking over eastern Belarus and most of Ukraine now eye Finnish lands as rightful Russian land.
Finland mus prepare it self against a possible Soviet invasion which Finland my not survive.
French Morocco

After the Agadir crisis in 1912 The Sultan accepted the treaty of Fez. That meant that Morocco became an French protectorate. the once so pride people of Morocco, who were never subjected to any forein country, were now subjected to France. After years of crisis Morocco accepted the rule of the French and was ready to look for their new role in the future.

However times are changing and as a Constitutional Monarch, King Gustaf V holds little real power. From the ashes of Europeโs fallen empires rises the Polish eagle ready to reclaim its former power and glory along with its rightful place among the powers of Europe. Under the leadership of Ignacy Moลcicki the Second Polish Republic will take its revenge on those powers who oppressed the Polish people for a century. The Polish people will not wait for the Germans and the Russians to divide Poland again rather opting to pursue policies that will maintain a weakened Germany and Russia. British Egypt, After several years of instability, the colonial government is at last occupying Egypt with a steady hand, without fear of large scale revolt, the region is mostly complacent under the rule of the British Crown. The current leader of the colony is one Governor Yossaran, a loyal Englishman whose sole goal is to make Egypt more profitable for the Crown, as well as establishing a more localized defense force. He is newly appointed to the spot after the previous Governor died of old age. He has just arrived at the colony a week ago and is getting used to the few strange local customs he comes in contact with at the local seat of power in Cairo.

I'll take the Northern States of America.
After the stalemate of the civil war, political parties have leaned more and more towards Fascism or Communism. After the loss of Michigan to Canada and the secession of the Southern states, strikes and riots raged across the Union. It was at that time, that the Union took its first step towards Fascism. Moving quickly to suppress these riots, military force was used to disperse the riots, and free press was subsequently banned. At the same time, the Communist party emerged, influenced by the works of Karl Marx. Advocating more industrialization under the government and for regulation of Big Business, they took to the streets alongside the rioters, and many battles took place between fascist and communist supporters. The Union reversed its isolationist policies during the Great European War and provided aid to Czarist forces in the Great European War merely to spite the Communists, deepening the resentment that has grown between the 2 factions have grown. While the Union is still Democratic, inherently, and in the minds of the people, it is neither. In the Northern States of America, democracy is all but dead, and it is ready to erupt into civil war once more.
I will take the Kingdom of Romainia
Following the unification of Moldavia and Wallachia and the formation of Romainia in 1857 Romainia has struggled for its independence for the rest of the 19th century. With Romainia's participation in the Balkan Wars and World War 1 the country has been shook by Pan-nationalist ideas following the annexation of Transylvania and Hungary and their success Romania has been influenced by Facist ideals resulting in Ferdinand I ( the actual King of Romainia ) losing political control of the country. Now Romainia finds it's self competing for control the Balkan region.
