Second World War RP

Greetings, i want to start this, saying that if you are not sure of how active you can be or you don't enjoy to discuss/write in the newspaper. Please just find another game, this is a game intended only for active people :) thanks for your understanding

RULES

1. No gold usage

2. Inactive players will be removed in 2 days.

3. No bad language.

4. Every now and then, You must write in the newspaper your actions

5. Land Grabbing: You can have a war with the country you want but If you are the attacker you can only occupy five provinces of the defender. After that you must send a peace agreement. They will have to either pay you or give you some military units. Once both countries accept the agreement then the war is over. If the defender does not like the agreement, the war continues

6. 5 days of peace (includes IA)

Don't you know what to roleplay? out of ideas? there are some examples of things that you can rp:

1. Declarations of war, Alliances, The war itself, Violations of territory and Diplomatic stances

2. Invading National Waters and Air Space

If a country is in your national waters 'Half a Art range outside your coast' then you can tell them to leave your National waters. If they don't then you can attack them. Same thing goes for your air space.

If a country flies into your country's airspace then you have the rights to shoot them down. If they still fly into your airspace even though they been war not to then you may go to war with them.

As far as national waters go if a country has to pass though it then they have to ask for permission first.

Maritime Boundary: The Coast is considered any territory under the sovereignty from the continental limits of each nation, to the nearest geographical point (circle). They are to respect the maritime territories of the countries that have access to the sea and those who do not have this privilege will have to ask permission from their neighbors for access (may be answering these questions with treaties, but they must be reported in the newspaper so that the whole community has valid) If that is shared by two nations, it is the considered property of both (no need that one has the consent of the other in case you want to give to a third party the possibility of crossing lying around), you can not block the Med sea,the Baltic sea or the Black sea. That is free to go.

We will start as soon as the maximum players join.

while we wait i was thinking of a number of rules for us to follow some are given while others is more of a role playing element, we will be using some rules we already established and some that is stated when the thread began.i have identified 2 types of rules: the established rules (rules to be followed and observed), and the imagined rule (rules that is only good if followed)

imagined rules are rules that cannot be enforced and will be on the players choosing.

The established rules:

1. No war for 10 days.

1.2. war can only start at day 11.

(the last time i propose this rule i meant "for" not "till" but i type "till").

2. Everyone must post articles at least once a day.

2.2. limitation is that every article must be RP correctly and realistic.

3. War can only be declared with a good reason and RP right.

4. if one waring party surrenders the war is over.

4.2. the leader of the defeated country is not "out" of the game.

4.3. a player can only be out of the game if he/she wish to be.

5. there can be no turnover of land between waring countries

5.2. the exception to this is whether the land is to be sold or under agreement to be turned over.

6. when a war end both the winner and loser must not declare war for 5 days with the exception of passive defense

6.2. all participants in a war that physically participated in it will also be under this effect.

7. all neutral nations (A.I) will not be subject to any military action both local and foreign, to respect their neutral status.

8. there shall be no swearing in WH post.

9. the WH is not a message board, post that concern the events in the world is allowed and nothing else.

10. any military unit (land,sea,air) that is near another nations border (land,air,sea) is already a provocation of war.

11. no one will post in the WH concerning another country without that nations consent

12. all form of spy usage must remain a secret

13. max inactivity is 2 days and will result kicking

14. Capital must never move its current position, not unless a legitimate need is presented

15. no nation can be held liable to accidents occurring in neutral space

Imagined rules:

1. no gold usage

2. no shared map or higher

(this is to ensure the security of a nation that will be jeopardize if its enemy is shared map with his ally, and the ally have vision on his country)

3. observe proper RP of character in private messages

(this is to add a little flare)

Most important rule of all:

always observe proper RP

read carefully because some rules complement each other, breaking one and you break them all, the rules will be subjected to change and is open to suggestion and criticize

Don would be crying if he saw that list. Do you not remember a single thing he taught is? Stuff like that is why our first RP failed.

Our first RP really failed because 2-3 major allied power didnot even sign into the game

Whatever, that is too many rules either way.

I suggest having rules 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 14 and 15. How does that sound?

-No OOC in DE or GM usage

-Regular activity and DE usage for RP purposes

if the post is about an AI country than there is no problem, 2 player nations should interact and RP not act on your own accord, might as well play an ordinary game.

BBB published stuff about Cuban spies on the newspaper and I countered (being Spain) saying that he was lying and those agents were actually CIA. We can do that. No to rule 11!

What about propaganda? See below for the results of American propaganda about Japs.

American and British soldiers were lead to believe that Japanese soldiers were midgets who were badly equipped and weak as kittens. As you know, this was very wrong.

It's alright if it's propaganda, just not something so explicit, you can talk trash about anything to a country but if the lies lead to unprovoke war, especially againts someone that is NOT EVEN AGGRESIVE JUST TO START A BASELESSS WAR,you step a little off the line.

It's like saying the island of Madagascar are making nukes, ignoring facts that are already presented, although there are some exeptions...

Uh, does this apply to both war with players and AI nations? It sounds like it would be a good period of time to buffer one's borders by annexing the AI nations near oneself.
