World War 2 Roleplay - Applications & Questions
I am going to attempt to start a 1939 Historic World War Roleplay.
This is because from my experience and others', Roleplays can be very enjoyable, and the most recent attempts at creating RPs have failed, so I am creating this new RP separate from the previous ideas.
A Rules Thread will be published once there are enough players, ideally, I would like at least 20 people, ideally 28. Since some nations are not essential, and will only become available if there are more applications than countries.
Major powers or important countries will be limited to experienced players to ensure high-quality roleplay, however, you may still apply for these positions.
The Game will last for 70 days before automatically ending unless we agree to finish earlier than this.
I am afraid I have also reserved the UK for myself, sorry.

APPLICATIONS ARE CLOSED.
Colonies, such as India and Canada, will start the game as subservient to their master nation (UK or Japan), which will be able to boss them around, but if they slowly build up, and Roleplay properly they will be able to gain independence.
The game will start exactly (or as close as we can reasonably get to) as the world was in January 1939. So different countries start allied with each other, e.g. Italy and Germany
time inside the game will pass daily, e.g. each day is 6 months, as it is supposed to be by the research tree, this may be decreased to 3 or 4 month days because I am unaware of how long this HWW Map will last.
Countries will also be required to set their relations to other countries as shown in the graph below.

The Reichskanzler, the Samurai woke up on a Saturday morning to the sound of bombardment. He immediately rushed to his bunker. Upon meeting with his faithful generals, he found out that British strategic bombers had bombed Berlin. The Samurai ordered the production of anti air units and a new type of plane, filled with nitro fueled rockets. He called them rocket fighters. After the initial surprise, the Kriegsmarine went out of Hamburg to face the Royal Navy. The subs had gathered off Heligoland Bight. Ready for another fight. The British, who lacked the power to detect subs charged at the cruisers and lower level battleships. They were met with a Wolfpack, which managed to decimate the entire British north fleet. Tragically, the Samurai fell at the hands of a British sniper while on the Battleship Pizza.

It is good, but not what I'm looking for, you clearly have the skills needed, so I will ask you to truly again please, you are not directly roleplaying as a character, and the article should be more realistic, maybe look at some WW2 news articles, or government press statements, this is a good example:
Those are good examples, even though France's was short for example, it was effective and realistic.
