World War 2 Roleplay - Contested Nations Newspaper Articles
This is a thread to post newspaper articles to decide who should take a certain country when it is contested.
USA Competition:
@Carking the 6th , @CMDR. Wolf , @GeneralJames
You will compete for the country of the USA, there will be 3 rounds of articles, that way you each have a chance to improve your posts, and you may publish your articles at any time, as long as all other candidates have published their articles before you move onto the next round.
First Round:
USA Responds to German Invasion of Poland
Second Round:
The USA refuses to declare war on Germany and only focuses on Japan
Third Round:
USA Election results and what they will mean for the country
Germany Competition:
@TheZhukov and @Talvisota
You will use the same format as the USA Competition
First Round:
Germany announces alliance with The Netherlands
Second Round:
Germany declares war on France
Third Round:
Hitler is assassinated and what it means for the future of the Reich

The French Republic has declared War!
It is time for us to reverse our humiliating defeat in 1918.
Our territories were take, economy destroyed and army restricted.
It is our destiny to DOMINATE THE WORLD!
The French have underestimated us, and our forces have already stormed the Maginot Line.

In any case I hope that I've demonstrated my capacity for RP both with that Dutch piece and with my participation in the Cold War RP round. As for knowledge of early-mid 20th Century Chinese history, I think my speaks for itself.

Australians, I, Robert Menzies have been selected to lead the United Australia party, and as such, I am the prime minister. We are in an era of unprecedented strife. Germany has begun a war with Poland, and thus France and The United Kingdom. We must not sit idly by whilst the land of our forefathers ventures on a crusade against Fascism and tyranny. I will send Australia's elite troops to fight with the British wherever is needed. I will heed the calls of the Labour party to increase self-sufficiency. Factories and mines will be created to fuel the expansion of the RAAF and the Royal Australian Navy. The army will be developed to fit an expeditionary role like the navy and airforce. But the scourge of Fascism and tyranny is not confined to Europe! Japan is aggressively conquering China and will invade the Royal colonies of Malaya and British Borneo and Hong Kong if an effort to defend them is not made. @TheZhukov and @Talvisota articles were neck and neck, they were both great, I preferred (by only a minuscule margin) Talvisota's, however, I felt that Zhukov's articles work better as regular posts, and I know that he is experienced at roleplay.

You guys can always just write about anything if he hasn’t given you a scenario. You don’t have any competition anyway so it wouldn’t be too big of a deal.

The Golden Pioneers, as refer by their officials, has organized a riot in Bucharest in 12:57. Armed with spears, pitchforks, scythes and many other farming, factory tools. They stormed into the Royal Palace of Bucharest along with other government-related buildings, threatening the officials and the royal family to seize their powers to them, claiming that socialism, syndicalism, communism is the way to get equality, stability and only them can truly rule with freedom and consent from the people.
