The game has not started. You can post in the newspaper, set relationship status between countries, chat in the game chat, and talk with nations.

You can’t research, move units, produce units, or build buildings. No one who joins late will be at a disadvantage.

Sure you can be in role, but the game hasn’t started i.e. it won’t be a game disadvantage for people joining late. You can establish diplomatic relations with others if you like, but not declare war or make article etc.

Sure, it would be better, but we’re not gonna punish anyone for anything like this until the RP actually starts. Consider day (or days) zero as a waiting period.

Yeah, I'm excited about the diplomacy aspect of it, not as much combat. Combat is great, but it will be so fun to influence history in other ways.

Considering we can't actually do anything but diplomacy during the starting period, can we have a brief period between the Day 0 waiting period and the RP starting, so we can effect the landswap?

Or do we just surreptitiously do it during RP?

Yeah, the glitch has been up for well over 12 hours by now I believe. I'm going to sleep soon, and hopefully it'll be fixed by morning.

Also, I do have to say that I'm going on holiday over Christmas, so won't be able to be as active as I'd like to be. Of course I'll be able to log in and do my minimums, but I don't plan to be a major influencer of world events - just my little corner of the continent
