World War 2 Roleplay Final Post

im not freaking out,

im just hurt that you have no respect for the RP and for others.

not everything is about you, its an unranked game, people should not be affraid to go to war or have a nuke dropped on them, thats part of the fun.

and evryone involved went underground 2 days ago cuz they are ashamed to show there face around here sneaking around like a bunch of snakes,

i honestly dont see how you have fun playing the RP, you pick big countries, make unrealistic armies then spy to know where everyones armies are at, then kill them with out any cool back ad forth war like a REAL RP would.

you make people write elaborate articles to join but you have corny, half ass not even remembering any story articles, saying im braking the rules at every turn while i have kept if professional and you skim by.

people joined the RP trying to have fun and be apart of something different not for you to have your digital trigger finger destroy it for everyone, you should be ashamed saying i should be banned from any future RP's while you conduct your self's like you do.

Genuinely though. No hard feelings from me. I am not trying to insult you, or anyone else I mentioned. I'm just trying to provide an unbiased scope onto this.

It sucks to lose so fast and be betrayed, but you shouldn’t drop to the ad-hominem level. Best thing to do is take a break for a bit and accept things. I got my ass kicked in the first RP thanks to incompetent Allies, but I accepted it and fought to the end, taking as many enemies with me as possible.

I'm taking a break from the game. I simply have too much IRL stuff going on right now. RPs require much attention, and I can't afford to give it that now. It's the only CoW game I have open right now, and I'm not planning on joining any new ones for a least a month or so. I'm very sorry. When I signed up for this, I had a lot more time for playing games, but that sadly is no longer the case. I wish you all the best of luck. (I'll check in on the forum pretty regularly)

edit: It is also worth noting that I should have probably stated this a lot earlier. I haven't checked in to the RP more than once a day for almost two weeks at this point.

I was having a not so easy time on managing the RP since IRL need some priority.

Just take your time on your break, no need to rush.

(I should probably take a break at one point)

This is also my only game, I can’t believe I used to have 2-3 games at the same time.

I find it funny how zakkty asking everyone to keep the rp realistic was also ignored. Just before the game started, he wrote an article asking everyone to make at least semi realistic articles. Not appoint Kangaroos, and make alliances with Emus. It is understandable why you are mad. But grow up. It's a game.

In terms of what happened, I think that the betrayal was not a rule break, it was not a fun experience for those involved either. I don’t think that us mods were fully open about the rules.

And while I am not saying that any mods necessarily did anything really wrong, I think that it would give us mods more legitimacy in future roleplays for there to be a mechanism to remove a mod if the mod is not doing a good job, abusing power, or not being active enough. Power corrupts and while I think that the mods have done a decent job this RP, that it would incentivize us mods to do a better job if we could be held accountable. I was wanting to say this for some time but a way to keep the mods accountable to the players would prevent disillusionment amongst the players.

I am saying all of this as someone who is a mod in this and the 1991 RP. Me suggesting a removal mechanism is not an indictment of the actions of any mod this RP

This RP was rly fun though. Yeah, shit happened, no worries, we moved on from it. Secret diabolical plans formed and it worked perfectly for the victor, and not for the defender, but hey, that’s life, I mean what else more should I say lol

Good Idea, but it must have over a 50% vote from other mods

I think that over the course of the game, it has been to easy for mods to make up rules to their advantage and not be transparent and to hard for the players to do anything about it.

thats all you have been whining about the last few days, not what im talking about, dont think anyone betrayed me,

im saying this was the part in the RP where we have a cool nuclear war with everyone but you are just like nope, no one can have fun, you are always so boring.

and you have the worst comebacks.

the maflleman-foxina alliance have been acting like clowns in the forum pissing everyone off and i dont really care so i never say anything cuz i like all of them but now you are acting like clowns bringing it to the RP which is suppose to be a fun rare event for everyone and its starting to get ridiculous,

everything i was telling Tanke in our chat ended up being spot on and i feel bad for him, you guys praying on his nativity playing him as a fool, ask him, i was calling play by play of what you guys were doing but he didnt want to listen to the one person trying to help him see the lies
