I would maybe stay away from navy and produce land units, then attack Manchuria, then attack nationalist China. After that invade Indonesia using your navy, then attack British dominions in the area

If you wanted to blockade Hong Kong you should have discussed it with the other Axis Members, rather than just going full insane and going rogue.

Even if you completely crushed China I still would have captured Tokyo and enough cores to force surrender before you could really do anything.

Completely wrong, if china actually did not lie then you'd have no actual explanation or justification to go to war before tensions or anything. You had no cooldown, unnoble.

Other than that, My naval forces would've arrived before you'd capture tge cores( they were bigger than yours).
