Completely wrong, if china actually did not lie then you'd have no actual explanation or justification to go to war before tensions or anything. You had no cooldown, unnoble.
Other than that, My naval forces would've arrived before you'd capture tge cores( they were bigger than yours).
Liberating China is definitely a reason, and 100% remember declaring war before a certain daychange just so I could move in for the next 24 hours.
Those naval forces would not arrive in time to stop your capital and main cities from falling, as they were rather far away by the time you surrendered. Not to mention your resources would be cleared constantly so It would be a matter of time before I simply moved my ships, built a few more and erased your fleet anyway.

Went back to day 3, found the declaration article. It seems the war was joined because of an alliance with China rather than anything else.

I guaranteed their independence in case you invaded them. According to the rules, that means I do not have to wait to attack. Regardless of what China did, you getting your economy cleared and starting a war right after I was gonna leave the region is your own mistake.
