25 player reboot? / The Cuba Glitch?
Countries you shouldn't play as.
There are 4 countries that make no sense to play as.
Those being Xingjiang, Tibet, Manchukuo, and to a lesser extent, Mongolia. (Maybe Persia, but I think they are cool)
Replacing those countries makes some sense in my opinion.
I can see why forcing the Soviets and Japan to worry about more player countries makes sense. But for the most part people who play these countries tend to quit, at least in my experiences. So I can't really say that it works out to well.
Imagine replacing the 4 useless countries with Finland, Hungary, South Africa, and Egypt for example?
Finland would force the Soviets to focus more North.
Hungary would tip the scales of central Europe. (For example, they annex Slovakia and attack Romania, who arguably isnt much stronger.)
South Africa would give the British and French colonies a run for their money.
And Egypt could Rival powers like Turkey at the Suez, or duke it out with the allies or SA.
You could swap a few of the boring nations for a more interesting game. Every continent has a nation except for Africa, which is also another reason I believe that you should move around some of the playable nations.
My example doesnt need to be exactly what changes. But some changes would be nice.
Got these Ideas from the Cuba glitch. Where you can play as seriously underpowered Cuba. In a 25p map.
