5 years in COW- My proposition after 2.0 version

I'm old COW player, this is a good game, even by ideas of a MSC degree in Geopolitics.

But, not every change is always accepted, and for me, old 1.5 version was better. I have over-reacted perhaps.

However, I have one proposition.

Since these guys, who made this game are so smart and managed to make people play for even one month some times for only one game, I believe that they should make possible for us, that are learned with 1.5 version, to have that as an option.

Both parties, those who likes 1.5 and those who likes 2.0, would be pleased. At least, evolution should be better choice than revolution.

If there is no way to leave as an option 1.5 version, than at least make these changes<

1-Make market like it was before.

2-Make zoom and zoom out like it was before

3. Make resources bar like it was before.

Leave the other changes.

They don't listen so much when the changes from 1.0 to 1.5. They are going to fix some bugs and just it.

Si no tienes posibilidades de vencer, es el momento de atacar.

I stopped playing, I only go back if they bring everything back to the old

Also me, maybe a game with alliance...but no more. Just inactive players and goldenboys. Also this 2.0 make me dizzy.

I would just be happy if we had a commonly occurring 1.0 event,

Change is inevitable, progress is optional

1.5/2.0 is alright, but the game play was different in 1.0, slower in terms of combat but more strategic in terms of economy. Hard for me to describe it exactly. The resource and science systems were simpler and more balanced. Rares were rare compounds used for research. It made more sense.

And the special tree in 2.0 is kind of trash. Rocket artillery should be ordnance units. Rockets are really air force, or just take them out of the game, they don't really work anyway. The flying bomb is a silly, vestigial, dead-end tech. Why?

Unit production is too fast at the start, trapping new players into economic stagnation. They lose their first wave of units, the game slows down, they can't build anything, so they abandon.

I only came across CoW after the transition from 1.0 so I don't really know how it worked but the way you're describing it, it seems like it actually was a grand strategy game lol. Given how much activity and micro 1.5 requires, it's more of an action game than grand strat one.

it is too early to say those things

we arent even playing the 2.0 right now, they posponed most of it, and only introduced the minor parts, there was a problem with the graphics, they said they were to high for weaker computers and phones, so they are thinking how to repare it
