A New COW Vision

Bytro is in a unique position with the COW engine...They can introduce other free on-line games to their stable.

I have long thought that their platform would be perfect for an on-line space invasion game as there is nothing similar out there. Being the first to have such a unique space game could really be lucrative.

I have a vision of 10 planets with 10 countries and 5 small bot countries on each planet. Hence 10 planets and 10 countries would cover 100 player map. Each country on each planet can have resource yielding cities and provinces just as they do know. Since there are 10 countries on each planet, it would be perfect for 5 v 5 matches.

Space ships would be introduced into space traveling and would rule space as current ships rule water. All ground troops and planes and water ships would be upgraded to futuristic looking fighting equipment. Troop transports would travel space as they now travel water - slowly and vulnerable.

1 planet for 10 player games and you have 10 planets to choose from...20 player games 2 planets...30 3 planets...etc...

The actual game engine already exists and that means it would most likely take a year for the art and futuristic design to be completed while the game maps could be generated at the same time...6 month game testing and by January of 2022 you could have a really neat futuristic game where most of the fighting to win points is on land and on different worlds!

Getting enough programmers (as I am sure the current ones aren't sitting around doing nothing) would be the biggest issue on my space game dream.

Oh, and I 'tiny' adjustment to the game. Gold can be bought and used same as now EXCEPT for manpower resource. One resource where gold can't be used. This imo could actually increase gold usage (ie. more profits) as many people drop when the gold starts flying but what if there was one resource that you couldn't use gold on? It would give all the people playing hope that they can win while the golders most likely would have to gold up barracks everywhere in order to try and increase they manpower needs.
