AA are good for preventing provinces from rebelling

I make use of AAs to tag along and secure province since their BP is so high. But this probably isn't an actual reflection of reality. Should one AA be able to hold a province better then 2 infantry?

No. AA Inf attack points are low (L1 is 1; L5 is 3). When the game used the anti-air defense stat, this made sense.

But real life. If you are told to secure a province, you are not worried about air attack. One AA division lvl 1 has better odds then 2 infantry regiments! If I don't have an AA unit I leave three other units there to get down to zero percent rebellion. Tanks, armored car, anti tank, infantry...two of anything is worse then one AA.

A rebellion probably wouldn't come from armored units either. Maybe BP should be the defensive value against infantry for all units. Perhaps AA could be bumped a half a point.

Good to have though. They are the cheapest, quickest to make, low maintenance unit out there.

1 AA does reduce the risk of rebellion. It is whether it reduces the risk enough that you are willing to risk the AA going over to the rebels.
