I've found war bonds a pretty helpful addition that has allowed for some creative plays, but I also certainly understand the general disapproval of them from the forum community.Right now, I find that war bonds are, in fact, exacerbating the inactive player issue. For instance, on the dominion Antarctica map, where every country's garrisons are protected, a player can just go inactive after several days, wait for a couple weeks, and use their accumulated sum of 375,000 war bonds to instantly research nuclear bombers, and nuke other players' garrisons/cities. Others have also pointed out the issue of accumulating war bonds to instantly defend from attacks by spawning in a bunch of anti-tanks in a given city.
To counter this, I suggest a cap of 50k to 100k total war bonds, from which point they must be spent or they will not accumulate beyond this limit, as well as a cap of ~25k war bonds that can be spent on a given city.
Add a cap for war bonds

Walking contradiction, partly truth and partly fiction, taking every wrong direction on his lonely way back home.
In that case, I would propose a gradual increase for the total cap by ~10k , and increase ~5k max spending on a given city/unit, for every ingame day.Undaunted wrote:
