Although some buildings added (like radar) would be cool these suggestions don't need to be added for many reasons, which I should not have to elaborate on
Totally agree, this is a BAD idea!!Mkmach7 wrote:

(Just erase Concentration camps from the list. They're basically the same as POW camps)Advantages ofPOW camps includeQuasi-duck wrote:

β’Making important things faster(Tanks,Infrastructure ect.ect.)without the use of goldmarks and upgrading industrial complexes
β’If they ever implement capturing units(which I hardly doubt possible but still, all the same),you can negotiate with the enemy for resources and stuff;and
β’Getting information from enemies like real POW camps(It would be hard to program but still COULD(maybe?)be plausible). For example, how much armies are there that they(the Captain)is commanding and where they are positioned and other stuff
They are not.....Arstotzka1 wrote:

Sounds awkward.Arstotzka1 wrote:

I will only address trenches as the others....
Trenches were almost completely abandoned by WW2, except in a few occasions (I.E. Stalingrad) but trenches more or less evolved into more elaborate defensive positions. The game uses these as fortifications, Concrete and earth defensive works to protect locations.
Unless you include the Japanese tunnel systems, trenches are a thing of the past by this point and not worthy enough to be included separately from fortifications.
They still use trenches today, and in WWII, but not like in WWI. A hole is still a good way to hide from bullets and shells.Armatus wrote:

Ouch. I'm picturing little icons of Hogan, Klink and Schultz.Arstotzka1 wrote:

"No one has ever escaped from Stalag 13!"
"I know nothing!"
Years ago, one of the weirder things I experienced while I was traveling in Europe was watching "Hogan's Heroes" dubbed in German on Vienna television. I could only imagine what German and Austrian WWII veterans thought when they saw it.
And I've got to agree with Quasi Duck's "WTF!" regarding the proposal to add concentration camps, and I have to wonder if you're serious. Somehow I doubt an online game company based in Hamburg is going to add camps to the game. Most people don't have much of a sense of humor about such things.
Not in the WW1 sense where you had miles and miles of interconnected trenches along a battlefield. A foxhole even today is usually some moved dirt so a single soldier or squad can get low. Definitely not enough to include an entire building in game for.Quasi-duck wrote:

Yup, totally.
How about...
1. Scrap the trench idea. We have forts.
2. Use the POW camp as a building that keeps track of all the units you've defeated since it was constructed. Look back at all those silly soldiers that rank 2 n00b sent at your tanks and relive the momment with a giant number on your screen. Will it say "5"? "100"? "9000+"?
3. Add Politiburo. Auto-catches spies without forcing you to hire counter-spies but also decreases morale (such is lief in latavia, also potat is go to gulag for be not in this jok)
+1 For trenches. They have been offered as an idea.Arstotzka1 wrote:
- Trenches(I know they're not a building, just add them IF possible and Forts are different than trenches, forts are just huge buildings with big guns in them)
Trenches or "Entrench" would give units a defence bonus.
Is good idea. ( Outside cities and forts ).
