Add more cities to Saudi Arabia in HWW
How is it that Saudi has only half the cities as Iraq? And only 2 cities total? I think at least one more should be added.
Maybe Medina?

As for the suggestion, even today Saudi Arabia has a smaller population than Iraq! Desert is not easy to populate and Iraq has many fertile areas, rivers and cities. Saudi Arabia has no oil wealth at the time, a small population, and just was not all that important. Maybe adding a third city (definitely Medina, it’s the next largest city and unlike Jeddah is not too close to Mecca.) would not be a bad idea, but it makes sense to have it weaker than Iraq.

I mean they had a little oil and a semi-organized government, but yeah. Only after the economic boom from oil and gas did they start to rise. Before then, major Arab powers had their base in the Levant, Mesopotamia and Egypt.

That’s completely wrong. They used guns, though outdated. There was not really any more slavery there, definitely less than the indentured servants from the Indian subcontinent they have now…
