I agree that Saudi Arabia needs a 3rd city. Especially in HWW. Iraq, Egypt and even French Syria can easily destroy it.
Add more cities to Saudi Arabia in HWW
How is it that Saudi has only half the cities as Iraq? And only 2 cities total? I think at least one more should be added.
Maybe Medina?

They didn’t have oil and even today have a smaller population than all of those. Saudi Arabia was a very weak state that was basically never the center of power for any Middle Eastern empire.Taffyta Muttonfudge wrote:

Remember that the map isn’t TOTALLY historically accurate. For example, countries like Yugoslavia, Mongolia and Venezuela were also poor, but they all have 5 cities or more.
But the Saudis are not playable, Yugoslavia was somewhat wealthy and had a decent sized population, Venezuela had plenty of resources and potential to grow, and Mongolia… is Mongolia idk lol.

I don’t think giving the Saudis one more city would do much harm. Especially considering that Colombia and New Zealand also got third cities since the 1.5 update. However, on the flip side, it would make Egypt even more powerful, if they make a Middle Eastern empire, which they usually do.Carking the 6th wrote:

Sure, but don’t count on the devs to actually go ahead and do so in the end. New Zealand should have two cities though. Colombia was equal to Venezuela and should be such. We need to add Panjim. Etc… a minor change like this just adds to the heaps of possible changes and will open the door to a floodgate of suggestions that will just leave people disappointed when they don’t happen. Apart from adding Panjim, it’s not worth it until the devs are ready for a big update to the map.

That's the discrepancy - there's really no set boundary between what does and doesn't need to be historically accurate. And the number of cities that countries (particularly AI countries) have seems to be something that wasn't made historically accurate.Carking the 6th wrote:

And what is Panjim?
Inside joke in the forums. Goa in Portugal.

The whole map is not 100% accourate
So they can afford to add another city
But you don’t want to open the floodgates of endless suggestions that would do the same thing and end in most not being answered. Just add Panjim and collect the other suggestions, implementing them all in the future in one large update or something.

I never suggested anything else
And if something is legit and historically accurate, and won't mess up gameplay that much, whats wrong with adding it?
It’s not you yourself, it’s just that your wish being fulfilled would open up the door for many more of these. Every historical inaccuracy would have be corrected. There’s just now enough time on that, and these are never done. The only hope is that the developers are holding on too all of these and will add them all at once.

Maybe like a "Great Renovation?"Carking the 6th wrote:

Cool, but I wouldn't want every new province to have border graphic issues, like Sinping and Dili do now.
Yeah, basically. Get it all done at once and fill their stomachs so they can’t complain…

I don’t know why the new provinces they add have no borders. Maybe some bug in the Bytro code?

Very debatable, I actually would argue that all humans are bugs, due to the fact that we have a conscience and no other animal does (to our level at least).Addin Turx wrote:
